I don't think it ever will, no subway

And the East NY LIRR stop is : merchant:

Sent from handheld Minority Report console

:what: they have the 3 and the L train.

:pacspit:

I'd take the Bx (especially North Bx) over Brownsville or EastNY anyday

North Bx is pretty rough as well, heard stories of the goons there stealing police cars, shootings right across the street from the actual Precinct...

North BX is no walk in the park unless you live in Co op City or something.

Caransie and Flatbush are the best black neighborhoods in NYC :blessed:

As well as some parts of Queens near the LI border.

Live right by Coop city :myman:

Plenty of nice places in North Bx. Riverdale, Morris Park, Woodlawn, Throgs Neck, Baychester (just to name a few).

Meanwhile, a driveby occurred on my best friend's block in Caransie with us in my car

Flatbush? :mjpls:

Mike Tyson went back to Brownsville not to long ago and he said its much nicer than it was when he was living there in the 80s, which is crazy as Brownsville is really rough today, imagine how it was in the 80s :damn:

He also claim he saw white people there, don't see why any white person would go to Brownsville unless their job requires it (i.e NYPD or FDNY).

Remember this white dude was dating this black chick that lived in Brownsville, anyway he went to visit her and as he was walking down the stairs from the 3 train station the local goons in the area asked him where a certain street was (This is a trick question to figure out if a unfamiliar person lives in that area), anyway he didn't know so they jumped him and broke his guitar :damn:

Dude came to work after it happened with a black eye.

Remember reading this on City Data a while back.

Brownsville is much nicer than it used to be. I don't know about 80s, but from what I remember in the 90s, it's a lot better.

I really don't think any hood out here is that dangerous, tttt.
Might just be me. :yeshrug:

Oh yeah, those areas you mentioned are nice in the BX, I thought you was talking about White Plains Road, Wakefield and and some other hoods east of there.

As for Caransie, its not perfect breh of course some crime gonna happen and every now and then, just the harsh reality of living in a black neighborhood. I would prefer to live there over any other black neighborhood in NYC though. of the three black neighborhoods I lived in that was my favorite, lived right off of Flatlands near South Shore HS.

Why the :mjpls: smiley for Flatbush?

Around South Shore isn't too bad...a lot of condos over there. J&K buffet :whew:

Unless we're talkin' East Flatbush, most of plain ol' Flatbush is an overall no go. Close friend used to live on St. Johns Place. I will say that more whites and asians are moving into the area.

The parking though, I just can't...

:what: its statistically one of the top 5 worse hoods in nyc.

I agree tho if you mind your business and dont walk around flossing valuables or :birdman: nikkas and look respectable and not nervous then nobody will really bother you.

I think it's alright in the day time at night its ehhh

I used to walk form the L to the 3/4 which is a just a couple blocks around 1-3 am and it never really felt right. Lots of undercover cops, people lurking in the dark, people driving with their headlights off. Or everything just being completely quiet and literally no one around.

The last time I called it quits there were plain clothes officers on the platform with me and they had to get in the same car as me and proceeded to stare at me the next 6 stops or whatever it was.

:smh:
