Maybe you saw Japanese tourists. From my experience the Mainland chinese vandalize shyt, dont respect rules, spit all over the place, cut lines, horde buffets like zombies, throw garbage on floors at restaurants, etc. I travel a lot to Asia.

The issue is mainland Chinese people have a reputation as being uncivilised and arrogant.

If you talk to Asian people from Hong Kong or Taiwan they consider mainland Chinese people as disgraceful.

If you see huge groups when you travel it's probably a mainland Chinese travel group

When I was in Thailand they had the Thai people whose restaurants they came to heated as hell over how they treated the place

Bruh every non Chinese asian I've ever met hates Chinese people and they always list shyt like this as one of the reasons. It's always the Chinese are either dirty, filthy, rude, and they just have a general lack of respect for anything. Hell even my Chinese potna I went to school with(he from Hong Kong) hates going to China cause he says Chinese people are WOAT.
