Dont forget upright rows! Really effective to burn out the traps.

What i usually do for traps:

Deadlifts
Shrugs
Upright rows with barbell, after that with dumbells or a cable
Sometimes reverse fly


Upright rows can fukk up your shoulders.


Better off doing face pulls.

high pulls are better than upright rows. lots of trap recruitment but the weight is driven by the hips

Why? Never had issues...

high pulls are better than upright rows. lots of trap recruitment but the weight is driven by the hips

Ok thanks for the advice! So i should do them all the way from the ground up or use a squat rack to put the barbell down halfway? Form the ground up probably increases recruitment....
