The point I was trying to make was that Trump and right wing media are trying to crate a new Boogeyman to take the heat off of themselves and it's working like a charm.

During the civil rights era there were, like the Japanese lady that held malcom x when he was shot or the asian black Panthers. But similar to other minorities like Italians Lebanese etc, asians were accepted to mainstream america aka acceptance from whites aka supporting racism by proxy. So because of that mainstream acceptance, I think that's why you see less of that. At least that's my opinion as to why.
