Word. I knew that would happen as soon as I saw they recasted Malcolm X.

Flipped the show into an Italian mafia series with 80% of the screen time - had Bumpy crying and looking weak the entire episode

They gentrified the script. They made the white mob’s daughter , the front runner and the Banana Crazianos crime family had way too much screen time . We saw Malcolm x for like 5 mins and Every scene with Bumpy, they showed him whimpering - totally opposite of how this was presented the first season. I do not gaf about Stella’s issues anymore

I’ll give the next episode a look. If it’s still a dub after that, I’m out. Not impressed with the recasted fugazi Knock Off Nigel playing Malcolm X and this season opener was not what I expected, in a bad way. This b.s. with the Italian storyline turned this into a telenovela- this ain’t the sopranos

I need Forest Whittaker to explain this situation and how he allowed this disrespect to take place on a series created by him.
