I thought the writing took a considerable dip this season. But it was still emotional seeing Malcolm X die and honestly I thought that arc in general was stronger than the main arc. With that said it was a kind of open ended finale which leaves me to think they will try to squeeze out one more season.

That was an emotional finale. I didn't think they were going to devote all that to Malcolm, but I'm glad they did.
If they do another season, i could see the finale scene being a time jump with Mayme leaving Harlem

I hope they wrap it up like this, great ending though I don't like they make Bumpy seem to be a rat who had to use the alphabet boys in order to beat out the Mob. That aside this was well done and though I didn't like the Stella shyt in this I see why it was necessary.
That all happened before the 1st season.
