Really enjoyed the game. Cleared most everything except a few of those challenges in musphelheim? And Gna beating my ass rn. I got her down to last third, think I'm just not being patient enough. I keep being sloppy and eating some of her attacks. So far her, and berserker king the only fights that gave me trouble. The 3 berserk fight and the summon one seemed to cause a lot of ppl trouble but i was so powerful by time I did them I didn't have any issue running around with the chaos blades.
Now that I’m replaying GOW Rag with new game plus, I have to admit…
The story and dialogue is extra trash
I watched some YT vids shytting on the game story after I first finished, but didn’t pay too much attention. Plus while you’re playing a game for the first time, and it’s good, you’re too wrapped up in what comes next, how to level up, puzzle etc.
Now that I know all that, and I’m actually paying attention to words and pacing, that shyt is so far beneath 2018 it’s almost sad (outside of visuals and gameplay of course)
But…I saw a deep dive about how this was supposed to be a 3 part series but last minute they changed it to 2, and had rewrite things to make sense and all fit in one game (hence why the prophecies suddenyl didn’t matter, Freya got cool fast, and there were like 6 diff background stories with no clear overarching theme)
