Basicallly it was God of War 3 with a different coat of paint, not fresh.

Edit: I know I'm not the only one who realized it but the sound effects lacked oomph and the camera was too far back. Something just was off.

Wow. I'm shocked to say this but I'm....not impressed.

The series is starting to feel redundant and clunky. Sound effects sound hardly audible and the gameplay is so bland imo. square square triangle, grab and execute. I didn't even finish the demo. Looks like I'll be renting this one. I really wanted to get it mainly to try out the last of us demo too.. I hope this isn't indicative of the retail game.

I had to force myself to finish this demo.

The series is just tired, and the gameplay hasn't changed much since it's inception which is a problem. The animations haven't changed much at all over the course of how many games now? I was playing this game on a 70in TV and it still didn't wow me because it's all been seen before in the previous games.

The parts of the demo that were supposed to be a rush and exciting weren't even fun... the part where he's sliding through the crumbling building was unbelievably slow. It reminded me of the times I used to get inside of a sleeping bag and slide down the steps when I was a lil kid...



And I played the multiplayer already when the beta was out.



This series has been ran into the ground for real.

The opening scene in GOW3 was compared to this bore fest. You should just cop that now, and get Acsension after you're done with that. I'm sure this shyt will have a price drop quick.

breh that metal gear game is trash, i tried to play it but the shyt was mad boring, im not going to comment on gow cause i sold my ps3 and never played besides a psp one i had, all the videos i seen was boring tho, until ai becomes as sharp as human level these type single player games will bore the shyt out of me, that why i can only play online games no a day, and its sad cause i got a bunch of games sitting next to my game that i have no thought of finishing

Or get the 55 dollar bundle with the controller and remastered gow1 gow2 those 2 psp games and gow3. 5 games for 55 plus a controller.

Eh, i copped that GOW saga with all 5 games.

I played 1 , 2 and 3 in order and other than the minor gameplay tweaks and graphics upgrades due to part 3 being on ps3, the game was exactly the same.

Same combos, same enemies, random mythical boss, just shoehorning kratos into all types of mythology story lines. Upgrading the same damn swords, again, and again.

shyt got boring quick, and i just played them to finish the story or what little there was.

I even DLed the PSP gows it came with and tired to play them. Graphics and gameplay dropped backdown to ps2 status and i was done . shyt gets boring mad quick. I dunno if ill partake in this one.

I got that new metal gear, while it can be played as a button masher, it has other things to add variety, the game seems broken up real nice.

Thats the main problem they have now. They wrapped up the story in part 3 and really have nowhere to go. All the notable Greek Gods are dead. The story was the only reason a lot of people kept playing because as you said, its the same shyt as the previous games.
