DZK bought them and put Bis on the song as they were cool, but yeah Air Strike was dope to me.

He shyt on him for bringing a notepad to that battle...you know he got a chuckle out of that shyt.

Rappers are having a rough time period
Here's a Maxi-Pad
It's actually disastrously bad
For the wack while I'm masterfully constructing this masterpiece as

canibus_notepad2.jpg

:mjlol:

Low-key he fukked up...that would have been a dope/most logical match up and would have did numbers if Em decided that he did want to battle. But he showed he wasn't really built for that.
:mjgrin:we need a smiley for that

Can't even remember if canibus responded to that shyt

Both of them in their primes would have been a crazy battle though

I'd still take it now. Would probably wake them both up and inspire some heat. Just on some Hip-Hop "I'm better than you" ahit. No personals.

:what:

That's the second dumb post you've made in the last 20 minutes breh.

1. Em is dead nice
2. Royce is his son, he has said as much.
3. He doesn't have an album better than like...4 Em projects.
Em is actually Royce's son and Royce was semi-c00ning for a while.

The timelines and rap styles REALLY don't match up if you think about it.

This was actually released in 1996, I don't know why it says 1998, I remember seeing that movie and hearing breh when I was 12.
He already rapped like that...Eminem was still doing his best Nas impression, then went to Jersey, Drake'd the Outsidaz, and came back to meet Royce?
Something's spooky about that whole timeline, story, and come up.

Black Mask (Chinese: 黑俠) is a 1996 Hong Kong action film starring Jet Li, Lau Ching-Wan, Karen Mok and Anthony Wong.[1] It was directed by Daniel Lee and produced by Tsui Hark and his production company Film Workshop.[2] In 1999, the film was English-dubbed and released in the US by Artisan Entertainment.[3]

That 701 squad track was released in 1999 on the Soundtrack to the American version of Black Mask. It was produced by Just Blaze

The DVD version was released and re-dubbed. That wiki article is mixed up on some weird shyt and gives 2 different US release dates for the same movie.

Leave it to this dude to polish off Marshall's nuts in broad daylight :mjlol:

Em been ass and I never heard him rip a track like Canibus did on Beasts From the East or Desperadoes.

Even if you don't like Em's music most will admit that he's nice, that shyt is a given at this point, you're just a curmudgeon. :youngsabo:

Even Canibus was putting him in his top 5 while he was in the midst of dissing him. As far as those two guests spots I'll take Threesixfive over those, desperados at least but Bis had that dope, gruff voice to go along with all that crazy shyt he was saying.

:whew:

I give a fukk what anybody says, I still consider Canibus a legend in this rap shyt regardless of how his career played out.

which message forum
D12world. Proof used to post there and Em's brother spoke on canibytch being made and posted lyrics. Canibus responded to it with Dr C PhD before the actual track dropped. Similar to how Budden just Did to Drake. All you have to do is play them back to back (no pun intended) and you can tell. Mic Club the curriculum has a few shots at Em. Stan is about Canibus which is why he resonded with Stan lives. Poet Laureate also has some verses that confirm what Em was saying in Stan. Even the album cover for Mic Club goes along with the Eminem Show cover.

On the low Canibus got the best of Em from 2000-2003.

Proof made a fake flyer saying that he was going to battle Canibus as some sort of joke for Em. Em thought it was real. Before Proof died he gave it up to Canibus and said he was dope.

Canibus was invited to battle at fight Klub and he responded by saying only if he could battle Em. Em's people never responded. This is according to Canibus' former manager/business partner Louis Lombard.

What people don't know is that Em early in his career named Canibus as one of his influences.
