GOAT Sonic game?

You only get to pick one. Not counting spinoffs or handhelds. What do you have as the GOAT Sonic game?

I'm leaning heavily towards Sonic 3 and Knuckles


Generations and Mania were also and the Sonic Adventure games were great for their time, but S3&K was something special.

Only in hindsight. shyt was fun during the time. It only lost it's luster with me when I went back and played it years later.

Pretty much. It was getting 9/10 type reviews in the gaming magazines back in the day.

Sure some of the mechanics are dated now, but I still have it as one of the best 3D Sonic games. Matter of fact, I'll never understand why Sega refuses to make a Sonic Adventure 3
