My problem with the Clothesline or Lariat as a finisher is that it's such a standard move for a lot of wrestlers. Sure, a hard lariat looks nasty but it has lost its finisher impact.

Even if the Rainmaker has been downgraded in the past few years it's still a Finisher and feels like one when Okada hits it.

I'm not a big fan of standstill/windup setup finishers.. JBL's is from him running so it just looks like that much more force. Voted JBL even though I hate him and love Okada. But gotta be unbiased!

I don't know breh in JBLs era when he hit that, not only was it cool to see, you knew it was ending the match. Just like Okada.

I look at Okadas sorta like "oh well he picked one of the basic moves in today's age and just perfected the shyt outta it so he could do enough damage for it to finish ppl"
