Voting Pounce for the local ties, but damn...the Punt is a great real-life finisher with an amazing storyline legacy.
I'm going to go with the Punt.
With the exception of the most recent one on HBK... that move has a 100%
rate. AT BEST, ONE instance of it ends the match. TYPICALLY, the victim isn't seen for weeks after the fact.
Monty Brown's Pounce is a better finish in every other category -- it's Madden's Hit Stick -- but the Punt is literally The End.

Never cared for the punt in the slightest. Orton started using that at a time when I couldn’t change the channel fast enough when he was on my screen. Monty Brown made the Pounce look incredible.
If you can sincerely watch Atom Cole (because he's tiny, you see) go flying into the fifth row and not think that's more outstanding than the Pat McAfee Special, then I don't even know what to say to you.
What's more fun to watch on a Sunday NFL game: a linebacker lay out a RB so hard it looks like the rusher went back in time... or a 4th-and-10 touchback punt?
I watched Drew eat 3 punts last night. I would have traded all three of those to see Keith pounce Tony Nese into the third row of LED screens just once.

He loosens his foot from his boot before it hits you.I feel like the Punt should be an illegal move. You shouldn't be able to kick your opponent in the head while he's down. If it was legal all this time, how did it take so long for someone to finally do it? Also, it's more like a field goal kick or a kickoff than a punt

That's the thing. I agree with you. By most every measure except ONE... the Pounce is a superior move to the Punt.
However, sans HBK and Drew (for some inane reasoning, and now they're claiming Drew has a skull fracture)... the Punt FINISHES people. For extended periods of time. For the purposes of this competition... I'd rather pick a "write-you-off-tv" move than one of the greatest wrestling .gifs ever.
The pounce is sick as hell done by the right big man, to the right little man. I can’t see someone pouncing Big Show and it having such impact.
