It’s crazy that the figure 4 has more pin fall victories than submission. It’s iconic, but when shamrock brought the ankle lock he also started wrestling to recognize a tap out. Before the ref would just look as jobber and call the match. My vote ankle lock.

I always thought the ankle lock looked stupid as a finisher. I know it's painful, but for the amount of time someone would be in it and tap out always came across as dumb. Why wouldn't Shamrock/Angle put full torque in as soon as they could to make them tap out? Nothing would be preventing them from doing it. There's no reason that hold should be on for longer than 5-10 seconds.

So for that, I'll vote for the Figure Four. The Figure Four is also more iconic.

@3Rivers we need to look into stickying these. cuz i can't tell if I'm just not seeing them or the tourney host just hasn't been releasing them. I remember voting for this one earlier in the week and I see it and the 3D vs Doomsday device thread on the first page but nothing else since Monday or so. The figure four never looked like it hurt to me. On the other hand, the intensity when shamrock or angle slapped on the ankle lock. It was believable that someone was gonna get their shyt broken.
