Exactly. It's the reason Ochocinco struggled up there. These routes are timed, precision and heavily schemed. They got WRs in NE who can read defenses better than some starting QBs

And honestly, that's not a knock on Cooks. His time in NOLA showed that he is legitimately a difference maker. But scheme fit is something account for so who knows. I think he has the talent to get it down, though. Will be growing pains.

Haven't seen much of him, but I'm inclined to agree. So much of NE's passing game is based around WR option routes and chemistry to where unless you're Randy Moss or Gronk (i.e. a freak of nature), you're bound to struggle at times.

He'll be fine for sure. People talking about Ocho Cinco are crazy. Cooks is significantly faster and not on the back end of his career. He's already been targeted a few times early on. He will be perfectly fine as the year goes on.
