to me Fairy Tail is what would happen if a writer saw One Piece and wanted to write a similar story and changed just enough stuff so that it couldn't be called a straight up ripoff. that being said i still think the core cast of Natsu, Lucy, Gary, and Ezra is a solid main group of characters (not sure if Happy really even counts).

still the vibe i got from Fairy Tail is it was funnier than One Piece which to me really wasn't all that funny and has a more serious vibe.

the quality of the manga has nothing to so with the writer making a solid group of core characters. Bleach for example has a bunch of dope characters in it but overall is a garbage manga.

yea true but the friendship aspect is far stronger with natsu and luffy than the others, shyt they even look the same when they grin and shyt or that look of sheer craziness when they get super agry

Good point about the Ginyu Force, one of the best crew.

What I like about the members of Akatsuki that they all have different personalities and their fighting styles are so unique.

:guilty: i like Fairy Tail...its basically a mix of Rave Master(from the guy who made it so thats obvious) and One Piece but more on the light hearted side.

:whoa: I'm not saying its on its level AT ALL. just saying i like it for what it is. like others in here, I took a break from it during a tournament after the 7 year time skip.

I stopped reading it and Bleach around the same time. difference is I want to get back into FT, Bleach tho...that Full Bring arc burnt me:smh: I'll start reading again but damn, it was too much:scusthov:

but for favorite crew, gotta go with Team Urameshi:obama: nice team dynamic between them.

also really like the mentions of Samurai Champloo crew, Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop.

the Akatsuki tho:wow: thats damn near not even fair to have them in the running:whew:

It's too bad you limited this to anime. Tower of God got some VICIOUS crews. Yuri's squad has no holes.

as far as DBZ goes: goku, trunks and vegeta in the super android 13 movie were great. that was back when turning SSJ was still a significant thing, and you knew shyt was goin down when it happened :wow:

Yeah, from Deidara the terrorist bombe to Sasori the killer puppeteer.

Pein was my favourite though, for obvious reasons. The six paths of Pein were just :ohlawd:

I'm not the type to do cosplay, but I would seriously wear the Akatsuki cloak and the hat :wow: Only Itachi had enough swag to make that uniform fashionable :smugdraper:

karasu was the only dude in yu yu hakusho to have kurama straight SHOOK :ohmy: kuwabara and yusuke were SHOOK of the toguro bros as well:ohmy: hiei was the only one like :hmm:
