He was also in foul trouble and was getting locked down by Mobley.
All of which doesn’t happen if we had our full front court.

The KAT/Gobert Front court did what it did because KAT could just focus on offense. 5 out works in some situations but for at least 12 - 20 minutes a night we should probably play double bigs.

I agree. Even a Precious/Kat would've worked. Allen/Mobley were giving him trouble in the paint.

He's a big man. He depends on the ball handlers to feed him the rock.
He never put himself in position to score he be roaming the outside too much. He’s the big man get down in the post and go to work. Hart was crashing the boards way harder than him and was effective. He’s the featured 5 he has to make it a point to get the ball in the post. We wasn’t sending no doubles.

It's obviously only three games but the lack of energy and grit in two of them is starting to concern me. I can get the Boston game, but this one at home was kind of worrisome. Who's gonna be the vocal leader to sound the charge? That 13 point lead vanished with little to no resistance.

DiVo’s presence off the bench has been sorely missed. Dude brought energy, grit, and offense. I like Deuce but he ain’t gonna go off like Dante. Those two were good together.

Exactly. He's one to mix it up and murk up the game too to change the energy of the game. Once the Cavs started the comeback no one really reacted. Hart is all hustle and energy but he doesn't really get into oppponents' faces and doesn't have that nasty like DiVo does. And if he's injured well that's it. We're gonna have to find someone to do that job too.

The shot attempts aren't a problem imo. It's knowing when you don't have it that night and realizing you now have Mikal and KAT that you can defer too, instead of trying to brute force yourself into a rhythm

If he goes 12-24 and we win, nobody is complaining let's be real

With that said, there should be no scenario on Earth where KAT and Cam fukkin Payne have damn near the same amount of shot attempts
shot Attempts are a problem for brunson. He has to work too hard to get his shot off and thats Not durable or realistic for the long term. hardly any of those shots are effortless. the Knicks don’t have a developed backup and have viable scorers. He needs to pass the fukking ball ole blockhead ass fukker.

Randle was another one who would get angry and more physical around this point. He use to son the shyt out of skinny Mobley.

With that said I don’t see anyone out there besides Mook like that and Mook ain’t seeing playing time so him getting mad matter.

He had mismatches on smaller guards in the post and got looked off a couple times throoughout the game. It's been less than a month and they've barely played together. I'm not gonna trip. Hart's gonna crash the glass because nobody respect his outside shooting.

With time and chemistry, hopefully Anunoby and Hart learn to slow they ass down with the tunnel vision drives and allow KAT to lumber into post position for easier buckets.

After a defensive rebound/outlet, KAT can literally lumber his way in a straight line from dotted line to dotted line and be too big ( @KnickstapeCity :whoa:) for most defenders to dislodge him. That should literally be the first look for the Knicks to start every offensive possession in semi transition.

I agree with this. KAT way too talented to be taking 7 shots and picking up 6 fouls.

This is what i was eluding to with my earlier post above. KAT needs to be treated like Anthony Davis.

Could he be more aggressive and demand the ball like Shaq would? Well that's not going to happen, so instead you do what JJ Reddikk is doing and drill it into your role players to give that passive ass nygga the ball, and not 30 feet out.

That’s a coaching issue & Thibs isn’t the guy to fix that.

Knicks lowkey fukked. I believe in them to figure out how to get the chemistry right between Kat & Brunson but the natural ebbs and flow, modern basketball movement on the court? Nah I don’t think they’ll figure it out and they need a different coach to bring that out of them.
