when i first moved to the A, i stayed at the underground, down town period, peachtree mall had the dvds and record spot, kicks and gear on decatur ave, haircut and fatbeats record store was on Mitchell, had the dope rice n peas spot in the underground, the smell goods/oil spot on MLK,got all types of shyt there ... and some of the shyt wasn’t sold by legitimate vendors

The underground used to be a top 5 tourist destination especially ... never even mentioned anymore .
the underground was my starting point for freaknik 96 and 97.
now downtown is dead, nothing but african braiding spots like every other store.

most of the new age crime you see in new age atlanta come from the "white haven" sides of town Midtown and Buckhead ... Southside and West End never been more peaceful

I get solicited weed and pills by at least 5 people every time I hit the store over there. nikkas still selling dope right in front of the police. I be feeling bad for the college kids from gsu who gotta walk through that lil plaza cause one time I seen a nikka trying to bully one of them into buying some coke
