Punk finished last in an over 40 BJJ competition last year. The two guys he faced in UFC were markedly sub UFC caliber. He wasn’t in UFC by way of merit, so I don’t see how you can possibly compare him to a 12th man in the NBA that most likely had to scratch and claw the hard way for that spot on the bench.

It was a shoot fight, I just watched it and Miz held his own. He was gassed by round 3, but Punk was gassed 3 seconds in.
