I've been on a dozen or so cruises and normally when serious shyt like that happens, the majority of the folk on board get really supportive.

Plus depending on what time of night it is, nikkas prolly ain't even know what was happening if they didn't announce it over the intercom if they felt it was something they could resolve in quiet while still keeping the schedule.

Plus from a selfish standpoint, they often offer discounts/promotional offers as a way of apologizing. Like one time we had to stop short at another port and wouldn't hit our destination until mid day the next day as opposed to the early morning so them fools slashed Alcohol by 50% along with other shyt you could pay for (Spa, jewelry, fitness shyt etc..) as a way of making up for it.
