In terms of promotion it may not be the right label, but as far as fit, it’s the perfect label. King of the point @The Minister was making in the Latto thread, her biggest benefit to being on CMG is production. She’s getting consistently hard ass beats instead of “cute” shyt like a lot of other current women get.

Yea that’s a PERFECT way of putting it. Like CMG isn’t a bad label for her, they actually have a nice ass roster (those compilation albums they’ve dropped over the last few years have been HAAARD), I just don’t know if anything can be done to the label to be elevated to the next level.
