That's different though. They still know that snow is a real thing, even if they have never seen snow in person.

I’m sure they know what snow is and that it exists
They know it exists but they don't have any understanding of it. It's kind of funny because it's like talking to a child or explaining it and they can't fully understand it.
"Its like a crushed ice or a snow cone right when you hold it in your hand?" "Is it always white and powdery like the movies?" "When it's snowing outside does it stick to your clothes or does it melt because of your bodyheat then you're all wet? How does it feel to jump into a pile of snow vs a pile of leaves?" "Is there a smell when it snows? You know how you can smell when it's raining or rain is going to come?"
Like theres so many little things they can't grasp.
