True
. + is like the streaming equivalent of "lil'. It's overdone but works compared to something cliche'd like "Impact Network"
+ seems like the new 'i'. It was iEverything for awhile, even lots of non-Apple products. I still occasionally see it.
Even the Twitch channel has some gems on it. At this point, copping Impact + is basically for on demand stuff and their live shows.
I'm trying to figure out why they even need a cable network at this point.
Given how readily available they make their previous and current content, they really don't. But Anthem owns that channel don't they? They are already paying for production of the show, might as well give it a time slot on a channel they own. Surely they won't cancel themselves, and it might help sell one or two PPVs/stream purchases.
It is insane how much they give away for free: their own Pluto TV channel, Global Wrestling Network (you can watch new episodes for free on a few weeks' delay), Twitch. I don't see how they make any money at all, but we've been saying this about this company for almost 20 years at this point.
I'd like to know what their endgame is. Is there a spokesperson for the company any more? I never see anyone from Anthem/Impact offices making statements or granting interviews about the state of the company or their future plans. They just kind of exist and are lowkey about it ever since Anthem took over.
