The way I describe it…he’s a good guy but is hyper competitive and is like an athlete with a chip on his shoulder. If you’ve seen Amon Ra St Brown talk about the guys who got drafted before him…that’s exactly who Kendrick is. Same weird obsession and focus on crushing competition. Cole and Drake couldn’t match that energy.

I've met him many times and have gotten to speak with him. Having met and worked with a lot of rappers/industry people I judge them based off how they treat "regular" people. I've seen rappers be absolute dikks to people, assault them, do all types of wild shyt. Kendrick def on some chill shyt and he treats people right. I respect that. But when it comes to rappers? All the TDE dudes are a$$holes to rappers unless they fukk with you lmao. If you aren't Dreamville/ASAP/Danny Brown/west coast/etc or a legend...they gonna shyt on you and dare you to say something lol.

That's why I don't think these dudes were ready for the aggression. It's not even on some violence shyt, just like....they gonna pop shyt and see if you say something. And if you don't say anything, or if your subs aren't good enough...they really gonna go in. That's how I saw the Big Sean thing. Plus there was some connection with the Aiko thing.
