Horford is a good player. You're just wrong.
Celtics are in a spot going forward that every team but golden state and Cleveland is jealous of. If Horford is a bad contract he's our only bad contract and having young talent, picks, and guys like Isaiah, Bradley, and crowder on cheap deals evens it's all out. Plus our owners will go over the tax so the money doesn't really mean anything

What horford brings to the table isn't worth the flexibility you lost

Yall assumed the cap was gonna keep jumping......it's not

The horford deal is bad

We still have enough for a max guy and start going over the cap next offseason that's always been the plan

I'm sorry you don't know basketball well enough to understand Horford's impact... you'll get there one day

Giving Gordon Hayward the max is going to change what exactly?

Eastside Atl -
I know Horford limited but his contract is the going rate for a player of his caliber.

Tristian thompson got 82 million and doesn't have half the resume that Al does. Y'all can say what you want but it wasn't a bad move and it made Boston relevant in the East again. Lebron the greatest player of his generation and Al is getting the business just like everybody else that plays him.

Ainge is getting so much credit these days. Got mofos calling him a "great" GM, and for what? Taking advantage of the Nets owner's thurst? Lucking out on Isiah Thomas?
Only thing i'll give him all the credit for is that i think he drafted really well (i like Smart and Crowder) and hired a good coach.
He's done well overall but "great" ...:francis: i dont know, man. I'll wait and see:yeshrug:
this is stupid

You can't dunk on a 9 ft goal and you have a 19 inch TV

You can't tell me sh*t about basketball lil man

The only people who agree with you are delusional Celtics fans

:camby:

Boston could have had

Avery Bradley
Isiah Thomas
Marcus smart
Jaylen brown
Rozier
Jackson
Mickey
Zizic
Number 1 pick in draft

All for 40-45 mil, leaving Boston with 55-60 mil in space this summer

If you can't see that they fukked up then :mjlol:

To sign who that's better than Horford?

I'd rather have Hayward and Horford than Hayward and Blake

They'd wouldn't even have gotten this far and you're overestimating the free agency class of this summer.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Hayward>>>crowder offensively

You'd be getting washed with Hayward too, the biggest problem is you're trying to play smallball vs a team that has a frontcourt capable of defending your smaller players, while also dominating your center and stretching the floor.

You don't play smallball vs the Cavs unless you have a capable PF (Draymond Green) to matchup with them, if not you're food. The Cavs are putting up an unholy 130 offensive rating vs yall right now, Hayward isn't fixing that.

I agree with this. Zizic could potentially provide rim protection and rebounding

Problem is we have the cap space we have to use it cause it'll be a long time before we see it again and Gordon is a good investment even tho he won't help us against Cleveland other than trying to match their firepower

But I'd rather Gordon over Blake and people like cp3 and Lowry make no sense
