Your post sounds very danny ainge like. He also really likes keeping his draft picks and look where their team at right now...8th seed. Lakers already got a championship out of AD trade. You play the game to win, otherwise you sit on your assets and watch other teams pass by...exactly what's happening to asset keeping teams like Celtics, while the Nets team are right now the title favorites, cause they ignored the injury concern/character issue rumors and still traded their assets for more talent.

Also them original draft picks are overrated. Ingram is a ballhog who's not letting Zion shine even more than he is already. Randle works fine because he's got green light, something wouldn't happen on a team with two more all stars. The big 3 of Russell, Randle and Ingram is getting destroyed by teams like Denver Nuggets

The problem was giving up the combo of all three. The Lakers already lack depth, so you want to give up three rotation players for Lowry? That would leave the guard rotation as Lowry, Matthews, and Caruso and who else? Add in Lowry has already missed 10 games and has a lot of bumps and bruises and it's just not worth it.

People are overreacting and panicking due to the injuries forgetting that the Lakers looked like the best team in the league with AD and Lebron healthy. Right now we're asking players to do more than the roles they are on the team for so it's expected they'll look like shyt. Well minus KCP, no excuse for his shytty shooting.
