Ya'all need another big to bang with the big 5s and defend the rim when AD is out. Even the teams with good wings are trying to score at the rim and crash the boards, they ain't taking jump shots all game. You can't have 10 minutes every game where it's a free-for-all at the basket.
Bron, AD, KCP, and Caruso should be the only untradeable players on this team. (KCP and Caruso are on that list cause their value to the Lakers is bigger than the value anyone is gonna give back for them.)What are you willing to give up
Lakers have enough depth that they can give a lot up. If they get just one good 3-and-D with size then they don't need Kuz, THT, Wes, or Morris. If they get a backup PG in a deal then they don't need Schroeder. If they get any usable big at all then they don't need Trez or Gasol. So all of those players are expendable in a deal depending on who you get back. I don't think any of those guys are going to be the key to the Lakers winning a title this year, they're only going to play because LA doesn't have anyone better right now.

Lakers dont need a max salary center imo, Bron gonna be on his way out so you have to get ready for a max wing. Drummond is almost unplayable in crunch time too without an outside shot and poor free throw shooting. He would be on rotation like Dwight and McGee were last year, and neither of them are max guys, although Drummond is better than they are currently.Realistically can the Lakers get Drummond before the Nets do
Drummond 18/14 on 46% shooting, 60% ft, 1.4 bpg
Allen 12/9 on 67% shooting, 76% ft, 1.8 bpg
And Allen is 5 years younger
To me its a no brainer between the two if you have the choice, but I dont think Allen can be moved yet
