bizarre, ultimately pleasant finale

could be the jump the shark moment..

adam's rage was hilarious, ray/desi was great. breh was dying to say all that for a while and i guess he shook him up a bit. jessa was a boss."i'm gonna be in love with you soon" :dwillhuh: bit too convenient at the end, especially with breh from the office going back on what he said. oh look... everyone is absolutely fine at the end?? time to end the show

"Lydia is bipolar...and we're gonna fire her pretty much the minute.. she's on a manic upswing" :dead:

the record guy with his "i hope he's still alive" thing :russ:

having a bipolar character is the new g@y. well every show has to have both now.

3 shows i'm currently watching had a bipolar character (shameless, this, empire) :mindblown:

He didn't own shyt. End of the day he out two girls or you forgot he gave up his original girl for Marnie. He doesn't have musical credibility since he bailed on the showcase. Ray punked him while he did nothing but go into hiding.
Also he only left the other girl because he found out she was fukking someone else. Marnie was his backup chick.

I wouldn't even mind Ray simping, if it wasn't directed at fukking triflin ass Marnie. Her and desi are both awful and deserve each other. Ray chewing him out was great and all but I wanted to puke when he said Desi didn't deserve her. :what: flys and shyt seem like a fitting combination to me.

This is what's been getting me, like did I fukking miss Marnie being anything other than a vacuous, selfish black hole? Ray has been the only centered, smart, consistently funny character and I just can't buy him falling for her like that. They should've done a better job with the two of them if this was the way they were going, I think they just make it up as they go along though. Like at the end Jessa decides all of a sudden to be a therapist, like what. Same with Hannah just deciding to teach and Shosh heading off to Japan. A little more build would be nice.

Elijah was by far the MVP of the season, :dead: at Adam fainting in this ep though.

Especially given how she did his boy Charlie.

Like it's one thing to be an awful piece of shyt, but to fukk my boy over like that, I'm not about to fall for you and defend your honor.

Marnies gonna be pissed next season when she finds out why Desi ran off. I thought this was clearly the worst out of all four seasons but the quality of the finale was really good.

Hanna finally respecting herself. Marnie becoming independent.

Ray with That ether on Desi :blackbands:

Mimi-Rose was a fukking weirdo. I hate those pseudo-artsy white girls here in the city :scust:

I think all of the characters made a step towards finding out who they were. And Adam learned the biggest lesson of all. You don't let a good one go for a new fling :francis:

Mimi Rose looked better (by far but everyone looks better than Lena Dunham) but Hannah had the qualities. And he missed out.

I think that's accurate though. These privileged NY white girls are like that. Making life changing decisions on impulse because they have their parents to back them up in worse case scenario.

And you really think Jessa's "live in the moment" ass is going to follow through with being a therapist? :mjlol:

The weird thing is that I can actually see Jessa being a therapist. Not now, but at some point in her life. It's like how they say the best preachers used to be the biggest sinners? She's gone through a lot and she does have a good heart deep down. I could totally see her involved in some unconventional form of therapy and helping people.

This season was meh. Not bad, not great, but it had it's moments. I don't think it was the worst. I can remember if it was parts of season 2 or season 3 that I absolutely hated, but this was better.

Season 1 was still the best and my fave episode is still the one where Shoshanna takes a hit of a crack pipe at the party and massages Ray's groin.

Well, one the show is written by a woman, so expect bullshyt.

Two, Marnie is beautiful. And good guys (simps) like Ray have difficulty seeing vapid self-serving whores like Marnie for what they really are because of that.

if a mans life gets so out of control to the point where Hannah of all people becomes "the good one" than he's needs to seriously REEVALUATE his entire life. Going back to Hannah would've been a terrible decision for both of them, but mostly him.

Adam needs to get back to his season 3 level and focus on his acting career and finding a girl that has no connection at all to this group of people.
