I don't think we're supposed to like most of the characters really. A lot of this show is just bringing to light the negative side of young people when put in stressful life situations. None of the characters seem genuinely sympathetic toward their friends' problems but they want everyone else to feel sorry for them when things go wrong....except for Ray.

I'm pretty sure we are supposed to think these are bratty ass, spoiled people. Its pretty much supposed to shyt on that generation and that trust fund baby type, but its also supposed to touch on their naivity, hijinx and I would think ultimately their growth and doing what they gotta do at times. Yes, we've seen some bratty ass, insensitive shyt, but this season has shown a little realization by each. They are all spoiled brats, so they gonna resort, but I think that's the point. Not supposed to love these people.
