This is something barely anyone in the media is talking about. As much as people love to talk about how Chicago has the "strictest" gun control and making sarcastic jokes all over the web, that is one of the biggest reasons why.

This is why in the same year(2012) that NY makes historical records for the lowest crime rate in ages, South Chicago, Illinois makes their own bad record of over 500 murders in a year.

Compare these average 6 month sentencings and fines in Chicago to Plaxico Burreau(did i spell that right?) situations in NY which has the more stronger sentences in the country.

Secondly, despite those who claim the Brady Bill is the same thing. Its not, it was severely flawed and even prior to before it expired in 2004 it had the same gun show loopholes we are talking about now.

Another reason

Look at the states that border Illinois.....

Wisconsin . Indiana . Kentucky . Iowa . Missouri

And compare those to the states that border NY(Jersey,Conneticut(please no dumb Newtown jokes people) Massachusetts, Vermont,etc)

........Now look at the typical states who are more likely to have the most gun shows in them........the gun shows where these loopholes take place and it is more likely that they can be brought into a city like Chicago with heavy gang activity.

The states like Kentucky and Indiana I listed........ enough said i think you guys get the point.

Google "gun shows" for the states that border ILlinois that I mentioned, and do the same for the ones around NY......

LOL. Voting doesn't yield any power per se but I like to have a say in what these local mothafukkas do with the money they get from me everyday. (Sales tax and whatnot) So sometimes I go to vote to see what is on the ballot. Like when they had that reduce penalities for smoking weed or making it semi legal. Yall need to get off that smart dumb nikka Lupe's bullshyt about not voting because he is on his period this month. Lupe just gave up on life, I don't know if the nikka is depressed over what is happening in Chicago but that shyt is boring now. "The President is a terrorist!" No shyt Lupe. I voted too. But I can certainly see that the vote is worthless. Niccaz need to die to get a government worth voting for. But yeah I voted to increase the amount of money the local schools gets in my district by increasing taxes a little in my area. That was a while ago but honestly nikkas need to lose this punk ass attitude. "Oh I don't vote because it useless! What power do I have to really change things by voting?" That shyt is weak as hell. Cosign X1000 dudes in here really do not know just how fortunate they have it compared to a country like Cuba. Even with the Patriot Act, we still end up having more freedom than them.

I'm telling you these dudes really DO NOT realize just how good we have it and how things could be even MORE better if we learn to lobby as a community. Alot of these dudes don't even realize that for the past couple of years, on the white house website you can make petitions and they automatically respond to it if it reaches a certain number. A couple months ago they increased the max signatures needed to 100,000 for every signature. They automatically respond to ANYTHING that reaches 100,000. For example check the two examples in my signature....

They aren't asking you to write a thesis paper for every petition you make. These are the same guys that did not even try to promote or lobby together in 2010 about making sure the Democrats won. Can you imagine how much the generation would have taken advantage of it if they had something like a White House website where they could put up UNLIMITED petitions addressing things they want to have changed or fixed........?

Use your voice instead of constantly shyttong on the president for everything that you can help him do.
