nikkas was probably looking likeI saw that ish live and you can tell everyone felt awkward after he said it twice.
Gil lucky rashad wasnt on there yesterday during the mj defense convo. Like a day or 2 before Rashad and Gil got into a big argument about Bucks defense being down and it being Docs fault. I think Rashad was saying it's because Jrue was the main defense guy. Gil was saying he was wrong, they defense down because they didnt have a system in place and Doc is trash.Rashad Mccants was actually cooking on the superstar vs star debate. These dudes up there just talking about who they like as who are supposed to be superstars
Gil talking about how you can’t be a superstar if you can’t lead a team anywhere as a first option or be without accolades, yet he names guys as superstars who didn’t/haven’t won shyt nor accomplished any accolades like that
Edit: Oh nah hold on, this nikka straight trolling talking about Steve Francis being a superstar

I'll just say that from a popularity standpoint there's no defensible logic in stating Giannis isn't a superstar but Steve Francis was. Once Steve got shipped out ofHoustonYao's shadow, he became an after thought. Meanwhile, Giannis is:
And he's accomplishing this in a small market city and without the Yao Ming stimulus package that both Stevie and TMac benefited from.
- top all star vote-getter,
- # 3 in off-court endorsements
- habitually been top 3-5 in jersey sales since the 2017/2018 season
Gil likes LaMelo and Ja more than Giannis so he automatically thinks that makes them bigger stars... problem is the math aint mathing
Yep, no criteria whatsoever. Flip flopping on what they even want superstar to mean. Steve Francis breh? I don’t think he even crossed a million all star votes, ever. These discussions always end up getting muddy, because it’s more subjective yet folks try to make it objective. If you wanna say LeBron and Steph are the only superstars in the league I’m cool with that. But to then add in guys who weren’t/aren’t even close to superstars status is crazy.and if it's on-the-court stardom (which was originally the focus of the debate, specific to Brunson), instead of asking Gil whether Brunson was a star without clarifying (which trigged the whole dumb superstar/megastar debate), Josiah should've asked Gilbert whether Ja Morant could be the #1 option on a title team, and to keep the same energy with the logic, since both Ja ("star" personality) and Brunson ("Duncan" personality) are the same height.
