Oakley 100% put hands on Stephen Jackson. A lot of the Ewing "has trouble connecting with the locker room" stuff came during those days too. There was big fukkery with the Bobcats. Jackson is generally a cool dude, but he had his shine as a #1 option in the NBA and it honestly wasn't that impressive I watched all of it. Everything from 1-18 because he was high as fukk, getting T'd up in tunnel because the refs hated him, to game winners and big balls dances. He's cool but like.... his image and his reality ain't exactly lining up consistently.

When it came to being a goon in the playoffs though? McRoberts was more about that action than most of our guys

Yeah he was but I’m speaking in hindsight, the 01 draft in general was bad so I don’t think it would have mattered...he was being projected as a KG type prospect when that was far from reality...early to mid 00s scouting was just flat out bad though...
