I was talking about this earlier today. Big man being able to shoot 3s is an overrated skill to me.
He still ain’t take the initiative to guard Kevin Durant. His coach can’t tell him no. That’s something the greats do.
HE CANT GUARD KD,
HES A GREAT HELP DEFENDER
AND RIM PROTECTOR.
HE GETS CROSSED OUT HIS SHOES
EVERYTIME MATCHES UP WITH KD.
HES NOT A PERIMETER PLAYER
AND SHOULDNT BE CALLED ON
TO GUARD PERIMETER PLAYERS.
It's more about the fact that the Nets are supposed to have a gigantic defensive hole at his position and as the guy who has won MVP the last two years he's expected to do more than 30 and 12 in a losing effort. 30ppg is fine if you're going up against an elite defense or if you're doing enough to win, but it doesn't look so good for an MVP in a losing effort against a shytty defensive team. He’s been great all series. People are just mad that his game is ugly. Before tonight he was 31/12 on 56% shooting for the series. He’s been killing the nets but people want to talk about a power forward not being able to shoot 3s. Hilarious.
i said if he develops a Consistent shot, then he'd be unstoppable. but since he's a walking brick right now, get that azz on the block and/or keep with the 3pt to basket two-step drives

Pointing out that before tonight he was 6-25 from 3pt and had turned the ball over almost 5 times a game (more turnovers than assists) is a bit of nitpicking, but back-to-back MVPs are going to get nitpicked when they're losing series.
I was going to post this, but in a much nicer way. They are nothing alike, in any aspect of the game.Another goofy ass thread from thecoli's resident clown. DRob was a face-up player whose offense primarily consisted of jumpshots; he wasn't known for his aggressive/physical offensive play. He wasn't even remotely what you're describing what you think Giannis should be. Just another case of you not knowing what the fukk you're talking about.
He needs to stick to his strength and not do shyt just because people want him to.
The irony of you criticizing someone for not knowing what they’re talking about.Another goofy ass thread from thecoli's resident clown. KD baked him badly a couple times but ESPN say he holds him to 36% in isolations dating back years best mark in the leagueHE CANT GUARD KD,

I forgot that it was Jason Kid’s idea to get him to play on the wing.Should just adapt to PF and play in the post. I commend the effort on attempting a jumper here and there but he doesn't need to bring it out until it's ready. He too dominant inside to be shooting 3's consistently.
Someone said, "Nets should just let Giannis get his and focus their energy on shutting down Middleton." fukk that, if the Nets are letting him "get his", then Milwaukee should just go to Giannis inside on every fukking play. What would stop them?
