Giannis could be looking to force his way out of Milwaukee if things don’t improve, Giannis has told people Miami/Brooklyn are preferred destinations.

not an option. Besides the sentimental part of not wanting Green to go, Milwaukee ain't tryna max out Kuminga.

Also, hard capping the Warriors with three guys making over $48 mil a year makes it very difficult to field a roster.
Breh you got lakers fans with AI Giannis in a lakers jersey, let a warriors breh dream.

Once Giddey signs, he becomes immovable, especially to a team who would be ready to blow everything up once Giannis goes.

It would have to be like

White, Williams, Huerter and all your firsts and swaps
I think they could sell Giddey depending on how he starts next season. If Chicago makes Matas available in that package things could get interesting

:jbhmm:

EDIT: I see... You mean Chicago can't trade him after he signs due to the CBA?

Correct, unless you and Milwaukee wanna be hardcapped.

But if you're Milwaukee and your pivot is to start over, why saddle yourself with a fresh new $30 mil a year deal to someone you're not rebuilding with or around?

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
There's an argument that Giannis benefitted from The Pandemic more than anyone, winning that '21 title. He doesn't have a stellar playoff resume, and that championship saves him from being the Harden/Westbrook/Paul of his era...

They lose this series, it will be four straight playoff L's, 1-4 since winning the title....

It's wild how Giannis went from being underrated and disrespected, to then winning a title and it basically gave him immunity from all criticism on this board. Out of all the stars over the last few seasons, he's had arguably the least amount of postseason success, yet it hasn't really affected his standing in the game.

Even if/when the Bucks crash out of the playoffs this season, it's not going to affect how everyone sees him already.
