Heat been watching him for years and assembled the pieces over time which is crazy if he gets blocked from winning this season on for the next let’s just say three years no way he can catch Luka. For example Lebron in the East had a clear path in the east but that Magic team was really built over time to beat him (they really got lucky in hindsight) then when the Celtics formed up they were so overwhelming (taking two top talents out the west putting them on the same team while getting a bunch of vets in an Eastern Conference that was really young) they were contenders until 2012.

I don’t want him to leave either tbh. But he’s gotta improve his game a good deal and the front office has to tweak the roster to hide his weaknesses. If he’s unable to make those improvements then he’ll need to go to a team with the right roster and culture for him to fully develop.

Bucks and Sixers look like one more failure season away from letting their players go. Pump faking Danny could've landed Jimmy instead of injury prone Hayward.
