I'm not even a Raptor fan. I'm a Lakers/Sixers fan but this Raptor has brought me so much joy the last 6 seasons watching them while my teams were in turmoil. Lowry being from Philly has always been one of my favorite players and I couldn't be happier to see this team go to the NBA Finals.
Anyways.
I've had great betting weeks but this is by far one of the greatest for me. There's never been a time when I was more confident that the entire world was wrong than this Raptors/Bucks series. I watched so many of your favorite sports analysts tell us that this series was over after game 2 and at the risk of looking crazy (and losing a lot of money) I assured everyone close to me that the Raptors would not only win this series but win the next 4 games.
So when the Raptors were down 2-0:
-I bet the Raptors to win the 1st half of game 3 at -2.
(betting teams down 0-2 coming home in the first half of games is one of the greatest betting angles of the 21st century. It's covered so much over the past 5 playoff seasons that oddsmakers have since added extra tax on to the first half number so that often times teams are laying the same amount in the first half as they would full game.)
-I bet the Raptors to win this series at +450 odds (when they were down 2-1 for the series)
-I bet the Raptors to win game 4 at +135 odds
-I bet the Raptors to cover game 4 as 3 point underdogs
-After game 4, I bet even more on the Raptors to win the series at +230 when the series was tied 2-2.
-I bet the Raptors to win game 5 OUTRIGHT at +280 odds
-I bet the Raptors to cover +8 in game 5.
-I bet the Raptors to win and cover game 6 at -1 (-104)
