He's made a strong case with his play in the postseason to go along with an excellent regular season, he'll rightfully get most people's vote for best player in the league

I pretty much agree. Kawhi has the best case on paper right now but just judging off what I saw from him on the court, I didn't see "best player in th league". He had wild help, especially in the finals.

Nah ... ppl trying to act like GSW wasnt clearly the best team in the league when they won those rings and it probly didnt matter who played in the finals they was gonna steamroll them...
Act like fans wasnt mad thinking that GSW would win titles for years...
The reason why this feels cheap is because Toronto isnt the best team in the league... got pushed to 7 by philly, winning on a crazy bounce..
Then plays GSW in the finals who were already missing 1 of their best players... then they lose another 1 of their best players.
And they still barely won... so even if it went to 7 games GSW would have needed a miracle.
Smh.
So basically yall comparing k love and kyrie Irving to Durant and klay...
I rather ppl just say fukk Golden state, cause they hated seeing a team that good winning so much, then to act like Toronto really took down champions.
And what makes it worse is both those players have injuries that may put them out for a whole year.. smh
