So confused why nikkaz like the Wu, lox and cam refuse to work with dope producers

honestly its not in the budget and even the dope producers of yesteryear dont all have it in the budget to clear samples

This has been obvious for over 20 years when rappers get off a major or a major dont support them

Everyone outside of Meth sounds old
Meth is the BABY of the Clan. He just turned 53. What do you want?:yeshrug:

These nikkas desperately need to learn about Tracklib.

GFK released Fishscale in 2006. I wish it had that production :mjlol: :francis: Three of these songs sound like leftovers from Wizard Of Emerald City.

Griselda and their affiliates have an entire stable of producers that would fare better for long time vets like GFK. Guys like G4Jag, Flee Lord, Eto, etc are getting high quality production from guys whose names you barely even know. 38 Spesh is right there. The production from Santana Fox’s releases would’ve been fitting. I just don’t get it with these long time vets. V-Don and Roc Marciano are right there.

1. How will they know?
2. If it's dope, who cares?

Beat nerds already do that shyt "Hur hur did he get samples from a pack, did he go to youtube "

Even the dope artists and producers are starting to make the same album over and over (Griselda, Boldy etc)

fukk them. Mostly cacs anyway. Again, if it's dope, nothing else maters.

Let's be real, it's time for Ghost and most of the Wu to just go the Rakim & Kane route and just do shows making money off performing their old stuff. They've had years of doing albums their way deviating from the formula that made them legends, and they've done the best they're going to do that way.

The best he's sounded is years ago over RZA and Wu elements production, but RZA ain't got the magic touch anymore and none of them use 4th Disciple or Truemaster either. It's over, and I don't believe in Supreme Clientele 2 either :to:

Production isn't good, but it's really only half the problem. Ghostface sounds like a shell of his former self, and he has for years. Painful almost to listen to. And it's not like I expect him to sound like he did 20 years ago, it just sounds so forced.

Hate to say it but Ghost is done. He’s one of my fav mcs of all time but it might be time to hang it up. His voice sounds like Cappadonna now and he’s too old to rapping about drug dealing. On another note if Alchemist can still get away with sampling there’s no excuse not to have some fire beats
