We were finishing his project "Redemption" which my friend produced in its entirety. I reached out to a few legends and Alchemist hit me right back saying he loves SG and Trife. Wanted to produce the EP. No money was asked for.

SG was on his street shyt. Thought what he thought. I argued to death. He said he can get any producer and it wasnt no shade to Alchemist.

He wanted to get paid for the project we were working on. I told him to think long term. He didnt want to.

I also had Pete Rock to produce an entire Trife fea . SunGod EP. It would've been a follow up to the Alchemist joint

I wasnt making dough. My job at that time was paying me more. I didnt need more headaches.

I def would love SG to shine and do something big. He is talented. Lets see what happens
