I'm not seeing the Assassins Creed comparisons between this game besides the open world and occasional stealth kills. This game doesn't play like Assassins creed.

all of those comments (positive and negative) were before the game dropped...it was just speculation for the most part

Basically any open world game that uses swords instead of guns will be compared to either assasins creed or the witcher. since this has stealth mechanics they chose assassins creed.

Same thing happens with open word games that use cars, i saw La Noire and Watch Dogs get compared to GTA.

People don't understand the difference between a genre and clone.

Honestly, I kind of don't see the purpose in the stealth component in this. It's nice to have it, but I rarely use it because once you get the hang of combat you can take just about any challenge on head first. You really don't need stealth.

Calling a whole patrol out for a fade and washing them is .

If you like action oriented open world games, you would be doing yourself a disservice not to buy this game. This game doesn't break the mold or anything, but it is a really good game. Haven't played an action game I was this into since God of War.

Ain’t gonna front man. Went to a mongrel camp 3 times and got hemmed up swiftly. Continued the story a bit and then went back and won first time.

I was collecting some loot and then brehs rolled up on a horse including some gold plated breh too. Like wtf. How am I meant to do these camps?! Shall I leave them for now?

Get the assassination technique and the hearing perk. Clear the camps out one by one and you should be good.
