Some games dont let the review embargo lift until the day of release lol . Thats when you know the developers
think the game is shyt.

ya I WANT the game to be good...but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little concerned about the later embargo lift

The embargo date has nothing to do with the quality of the game. :snoop:
No, but the later the embargo date, the less time ppl have to shyt on the game before it comes out, if that's what they're so worried about.

This is one of them games that I wish would have a demo. The premise sounds cool and all, but for me, it's all gonna come down to how the combat is. I'm not really looking for a broad, story-driven game with lackluster combat. Don't get me wrong, I like story driven games, but when we're talking feudal Japan and samurai, the combat HAS to be on point. And the only way I'll know if it's right is if I play it. And I don't wanna drop $60 bucks on a game that I may very well bush within 10 minutes of playing.

3 days is plenty of time to shyt all over a game.

Anyway companies don't like demos for datamining and security reasons and its pretty clear what the game will play like at this stage - lots of info out there.

ya ppl are being dense and taking it the wrong way as if I’m looking to shyt on the game ahead of time...as I said before ppl went nuts when they saw how early the embargo date was lifted on TLOU2 prior to it being released...it can sometimes be a good/bad sign...just saying I was a little bit concerned...that’s all

*edit*

see @FloorGeneral ...?

perfect example lol smh...

Already shytting on a game because of review embargoes...

ok @Kiyoshi-Dono I see what you’re doing...you’re using this to justify your “hate” for TLOU2 two full months ahead of it being released...your point would make sense if I hated this game and wrote a shyt ton of lines discrediting it like you did below based only on a later embargo lift...except all I did is express concern that it could be an indicator that it might not be a great game...you TLOU2 weirdos have to let that game go

It not about making Joel a “hero”..
The Last of Us wasn’t perfect..
I can understand when someone says they didn’t like it..
But the story is what gripped the masses..
Joel embodies what it’s like to be a man..
You make some really fukked up choices sometimes..
Just to survive..
Right or wrong..
Also the mirroring of a father and daughter relationship..
Sure, it’s a trope that has been done better..
Throughout gaming and cinematic history..
You really felt for the characters..
Sam and Henry still pisses me off..
And they clearly were sacrifices to push forward Ellie/Joels narrative..
But I digress..
The story was about cultivating relationships in the darkest of times..
A lot of people outchea have walls built up..
Because of shame and regret..
Joel’s story fits that narrative..
The first game also had other dynamic relationships..
Bill/Joel/Ellie..
Sam/Henry..
Tess/Joel
Marlene
David and his cannibals..
Fans and players had connections to these characters..
So to now see these leaks and convoluted plot..
It just makes no sense..
You built up this world to turn it into something else..
I don’t care about the politics they are trying to push forward..
Give me a good story..
Kill Joel in a better way then him wincing on the ground like a p*ssy..
If you are going to kill Ellie..
Make the shyt make sense..
None of this shyt makes sense..
This sequel could have been so much more..
So many ways they could have built off the first ending..
If they really wanted to explore vengeance..
Marlene/David definitely had people in their camps wanting to exact violence..
But to bring about a rando NPCs daughter..
I give two fukks about..
It’s mind blowing..
I’ll still play because honestly..
There ain’t shyt else to play..
Hopefully GOT doesn’t get pushed back..
But this story just seems funny in the light..
And to Kill Joel like they did the Asian Breh in TWD..
Abby is Negan to the T..
And I don’t know anybody that likes that character..
Outside of Tekken 7:mjlol:

^^^ That rant is embarrassing. Not from Harlem. Just call Joel daddy and save time :dame:

right...and he’s trying to equate ppl being slightly concerned about the later embargo lift to that and calling it “hypocrisy”...dude is nuts
