It looked like the general open world game that has been pioneered as this generation's standard. I don't know if I saw anything gameplay-wise that was new. From what was shown it'll follow the explore, loot, craft loop. Use the wind to find your waypoint? Not too dissimilar to Monster Hunter World Scoutflies or the Fable II breadcrumb trail. Spoonfed enemy awareness with a meter. Whistle for your magically offscreen appearing horse
. I really hope there's more to this, because I've been wanting a solid samurai game a la Way of the Samurai, but with a good budget behind it. I could probably get into the stance system, but I don't know if I like the "switch stance to fight this enemy" thing. If anyone is familiar with Way of the Samurai, 3 in particular, the weapon dictated the stance and move set, and the move set was even further segmented. I'm afraid this is going to shape up as rock paper scissors for the best stance for the enemy, then button mash or wait for the prompt to kill.
