Huh?. I've already beat GOT on PS4 version last year. Yesterday, I bought PS5 upgrade for $30 and I played this game in this morning in PS5 version. I can tell different between PS4 and PS5 graphic.

Sony and Sucker Punch really bungled this update process. They overly complicated the pricing structure for most, and even if you understand it, you have to install the game twice if you have the disc version because that has to be inserted before you can even have the option to upgrade at a lower price

Not if you didn’t have a ps4 pro. There extra particle and lighting effects on the pro, so if you went from vanilla ps4 to ps5 you’ll see that plus a 4k/60fps bump in res from 1080p/30

I think 30 for the ps5 upgrade edition. Only difference between Ps5 upgrade and PS4 edition is the haptics for the controller, 3D audio, and the Japanese lip sync. If u get the PS4 version, u still get 4K/60fps

For 20 dollars you got the dlc for the ps4 version, which has 1800p/60fps alright patched in. For 30 yo get the ps5 version which has

• Japanese lip syncing
• 4k resolution with 60fps
• 3d audio and dual sense support
• Instant loading times

I’m honestly not even trying to cape but i dont know why people are having so much trouble. I literally went ot the store and just downloaded the update and started playing

I downloaded the Directors Cut, (one quick easy download btw). Downloaded my PS4 save from the cloud. Chose to use that save from the in game menu. Done, up and running.

Whether this upgrade is worth the extra 10$ is up for debate but the game is beautiful still. I will take the bump in res.

You just need the save on your PS5. Whether you use a USB from your PS4 to PS5, or whether you use the cloud to do the same.
