Ghost in the shell series's is some of the best anime I've seen. SAC, 2nd Gig, and Arise

It starts with stand alone complex , then 2nd gig, then Arise (haven't seen the OVAs of arise just the TV series architect)

But you should start with the original film first

Don't watch Ghost in the Shell 2.0 with its shytty CGI. The OG version is leaps better in my opinion.
