He doesn't represent all of us. He's just being too edgy in some of those pics:stopitslime:

Though i'm definitely liking some of his other stuff :ohhh:

quickest way to get Western mainstream attention & press in 2018 is to ride the 1980s androgynous wave.

on some Boy George or Prince shyt.

This ain't something new that you never heard before.....no...this is something old....and dirty....and dirty..and dirty

Too late. He's already been hailed as an "African pioneer."

Random Thoughts on Afrogallonism

"One can hardly say, or give a correct answer to the dynamism of art, or where it will be in five years’ time because Art shifts focus based on its market, investment and attention paid to it. Art has focused on Asia; all of Europe and finally it has shifted focus back to Africa, which is the home and mother of all creations. African Art has been involved in and will now be involved in a lot of opportunities’ that creates room for more artistic development, and with Afrogallonism as one of the African pioneers."

Obviously, but do you think West Africa in general is becoming more progressive? And if so, do you think its due to a natural progession within the respective West African cultures or because of western influence which could be ironic since there are claims that most of the rigid social norms were due to the influence of western christianity.

Do Asians ever get exposed doing this shyt? If so can someone post up pics :patrice:

I've never come across anything but it something to be said about how a black man in the creative space has to cross gender boundaries in order to recieve acceptance from the wider creative audience or have any type of appeal or recognition to larger mainstream audiences. This Afrogallonism artist has some really dope shyt, but the crossdressing simply denigrates his work. It's not edgy, it's corny.

White folks eat it up though and that's how you gain popularity.... So sad:wow:

Almost everyone has done gender exploration from an artistic stand point. Japan has had Bishouen for decades now. Literally its not new. This isn't some widespread conspiracy to emasculate Black/African men.

Its literally ALWAYS been a thing. Like how male painters used to model their women subjects sometimes off of their male relatives. Its really nothing new.
