i'm not saying little g isn't a big puncher. just that I believe brook when he says he thought little g would punch harder. for a welterweight moving up 2 weight classes, he took his punches much better than I expected. personally, I don't think little g has super devastating power. he rarely stops guys with a single punch. it's almost always from the accumulation of punishment.

have seen both the sky and hbo broadcasts

and its fascinating to me how hbo completely missed everything... the drama, the noise, lampley/bhop sounded uninterested and bhop was particularly horrible today

meanwhile sky broadcast was exciting, highly biased, and most importantly caught the eye thing since it FIRST happened.. down to paulie going through the same thing in the cotto fight. so for at least 1/2 rounds the viewer knew about it, while on hbo the stoppage "came out of nowhere" - shocking hbo completely missed it. and surprising they were on-site as they were so out of tune.

Once Brook started fighting for his life, instead of boxing to win, you knew it was down hill from there.

He made the pace faster then it should have been, and that lil bit of lateral movement eventually turned into bigger circles around the ring and more energy draining haymakers thrown.

You gotta box/fight GGG calmly and composed. Ouma did a better job of that, but never had those type moments with the offense like Brook did. Both got beat down though. One just stood up to it better while being more competitive.

I'm betting on Brook to win MD12.

All Brook has to do is jab and move and catch him on the way in. Golovkin is too stiff to pick him apart
