he pretty much dominated the first few rounds except for getting hurt in the first.

Canelo (GBP) ducked the shyt outta GGG. that's not even up for debate. that doesnt mean he wouldnt beat GGG though. they just want path of least resistance. if you check back I made a post after Canelo-Khan and I said it was a bad move for him to duck GGG when I would personally favor him slightly but saw it as an even fight at worst.

Basically Brook was employing a better version of the Monroe Jr. gameplan of getting in close on GGG, smothering him, and countering him on the inside.
You don't beat GGG falling back, you give him momentum in pressing, you have to meet him in the middle and push him back, at best make him fight off the back foot and be the counter puncher than let him lead. That is the best shot and I think Canelo could do it and beat GGG down. IMHO.
