These forums aren’t nowhere near as wild as they use to be when I first started posting heavy in the early to mid 2000s.
Female posters nudes use to get passed around in the backstreets like collectible trading cards, mods attacked, various aliases, people’s personal information getting posted, posters flying out to other cities to fight other posters, etc.
Hell I remember when I was apart of another online community there was a little self righteous female there. She pissed off the wrong poster and he exposed her azz. Apparently, she had a whole webcam business. She was playing with herself with dildos and even getting fukked on camera, you just had to pay for a subscription to her site. She got ethered into oblivion behind that. They even sent the information of her webpage to her child’s school. To old girl’s credit she didn’t run from that sonning, but her whole posting style changed after that.
These forums are a lot more tightly moderated now and from what I see the phishing and hacking isn’t nearly as wild as it use to be. Stuff made for some interesting times though as long as you weren’t on the end of it.
