Yeah, I don't really get why a girl having social media is such a HUGE problem to point where people are saying they feel sorry for men that date women with social media. wtf? it's like they want their gf to be blocked off from friends, family, and the world. it's weird. Can't text friends and family because then you're on your phone all the time and that's a problem but you also can't post videos/pictures for them to look at and comment on because that's also a problem. You can't go out with your friends either because that's a problem too. smh

My wife and I have never had any social media, she is still in touch with her friends and family, social media accounts are not necessary for life.

They are out there. Even when I was in college I'd sometimes come up on a chick who ain't had social media. It was kinda :dahell: because you always expect that they do but I've found with the 24-30 crowd a lot of them gave up on Facebook but never really got into IG and think they too old for snap.

Some of the ones who do got IG got a private page and only accept people they know. So there are women out there not relying on likes

Calm it down a little.

No one is out here on some 1940s shyt saying women should have rotary phone located in the kitchen...

The point is, there seems to be a growing need to obtain mass validation and a person's - men and women - online life gains more importance/significance every day.

People child rear, expose relationship secrets, and objectify themselves for a like and a share more and more.

That's an issue that only grows exponentially every year.

I imagine you disagree with me?

I can't get mad, I don't have a facebook/twitter/instsgram but I'm on the coli 24/7 :yeshrug:
And the Coli is mostly anonymous, thus, the public validation seeking is not in question.

However, when you see those over 1mill post posters who seem to live and breath this shyt... That's when you have every right to indicate it is a problem.

It's just a brief complaint, you can act like social media isn't having very serious sociological effects on people all you want by a notice it's a problem and it's a personal thing that's a reality for me being and college. I'm not saying I want a girl with no social media I'm saying I want one who isn't attached, which are very few
I'm speaking from a place of hurt :beli:

lol

it's not that serious.

:usure:

I work in downtown Manhattan, literally the busiest place in the world

On a daily basis women almost walk right into me because they walk down the street with their faces buried in their phones

It is that serious

I ain't even mad at the young women tho. I'm more dumbfounded at how chicks pushing 30 and well into their 30s and 40s and up somehow got so caught up in social media :mindblown:

I wouldn't go as far as all that

Going out with friends and keeping in touch with family members is all good. But posting pics for likes is seeking approval from strangers online and there is nothing healthy about that.

Not to mention the following aspect of a bunch of sheep ass people blindly following what others do.

Then add the fact of being able to socialize better online than in real life and it's flat out pathetic :hhh:

My friend is actually gorgeous. I mean legit 9/10 to 10/10..fine ass woman and doesnt use social media at all. Everything about her is uncommon for a 23 year old woman who could probably get 100K followers easy. I agree though, it's rare, lots and lots of attention and validation seekers.

Women like attention and to be admired which is perfectly natural :comeon:

Instead of crying about it use it to your advantage :yeshrug:
