SEEKA.TV GIVES SERIES ORDER TO ALONGE HAWES DRAMA ‘BLACK ON BOTH SIDES’

Following on the heels of the announcement that Seeka.TV had entered into an exclusive production arrangement with multi-hyphenate Alonge Hawes, an announcement has been made that the fruit of the agreement will manifest in a new dramatic series, titled Black On Both Sides.

While plot details are being kept strictly under wraps, Seeka.tv has confirmed that the half-hour series will have an 8 episode order to premiere on the platform later this year. A mysterious 30-second teaser was also released to accompany the announcement. Alonge Hawes will write, direct, and serve as show-runner for the series as well as produce alongside returning collaborators Shani Hawes, Cordarol Sanders, Jamal Mcclendon, and Rodderick Fedd. Jairus Burks will also return as Cinematographer for the series.

Alonge Hawes is best known as the creator and star of the web series Blue Collar Hustle, the second season of which premiered at number 1 on both Seeka.tv and KweliTV’s list of most-watched series. Blue Collar Hustle’s second season was also named Best Web Series by the Oniros Film Awards as well as Best Returning Series by the Minnesota Webfest.

Seeka.TV, which was founded by a team of entrepreneurs including cofounders of the Dell acquisition Enstratius, is a next-generation curated platform providing access to the most popular and critically acclaimed independent web series around the globe. The platform boasts a lineup of over 500 episodes across more than 50 shows. Seeka.tv offers free viewership through both its online source as well as apps available through iOS, Apple TV, Android, Roku, and Amazon Fire.

I was coming out of the Army, deciding what I wanted to do. Decided I wanted to go back to work for Best Buy. She looked me right in my face and said "So your going to be 35 years old making $12.50:stopitslime:".

That was literally the moment where I completely and utterly fell out of love with her. NO woman in the history of my existence has ever been allowed to disrespect me, my work ethic, nor my decision making to such a disgusting level. Especially a woman whose hand I took in marriage...

So I did exactly what I had to do. Started back at the bottom part time and worked myself back to Manager in 5 months. Three promotions, three pay raises (plus bonuses). And after that time period I didn't feel as if she deserved to be a part of my success as she wasn't supportive during my hustle and struggle. Once I made manager she wanted to talk about how proud of me she was and all that shyt but I told her straight up I didn't make it because of her. I made it DESPITE of her and I didn't want her nor the marriage any longer. I actually told her all of this two months ago but she begged and pleaded for another chance talking about how sorry she was and she always believed in me and she was just frustrated during that time period. She wanted to go to counseling and I tried it but nah....the damage had been done. Once you disrespect a man.... TRULY disrespect him, he will never forgive you
5 years late, :mjlol: but...

She wasn't wrong tho? You just didn't like the truth.:gucci:

Why would you leave the military with no back up plan?

Why didn't you do some vocational studies so when you did leave you wouldn't have to work at Best Buy?

You're lucky she even stayed with you to be fair.

She tried to make you strive for more so how was that disrespectful? Don't you think you can be more than a manager at Best Buy?
