Scarface was so friggin vivid with expressing paranoia and depression its not even funny.

I know the Lord is lookin' at me
But yet and still it's hard for me to feel happy
I often drift while I drive
Havin' fatal thoughts of suicide
BANG and get it over with
And then I'm worry-free, but that's nonsense
I got a little boy to look after
And if I died then my child would be a b*stard
I had a woman down with me
But to me it seems like she was down to get me
She helped me out in this
But to me she was just another chick
Now she's back with her mother
Now I'm realizing that I love her
Now I'm feelin' lonely
My mind is playin' tricks on me

:whoa:Face you hitting home a bit...ease back dude.
Timeless bars. Saw Face at a old school hip hop concert back in the summer. While everyone else was jumping around the stage and hollering..Face came out and spit straight hot chicken grease. I was :wow:

The worst that you could do is let me keep your fukkin kids
Cause I'm a teach 'em how to act
And if they ain't actin' right, they dyin' tonight
So, uh, ain't no use in you tryin' to spot 'em
I send you a motherfukkin note that says "Chuckie's got em!"

Chuckie - Geto Boys

I could see why a lil kid would be scared of someone who makes songs with those type of lyrics

That was Ganksta Nip behind that one

This is something that seems to be lacking ....That universal hit that everybody" can feel" ...but in defense of today this was some "Brand New Story-tellin type shyt" for its time and all things considered it should have won a Grammy or AMA or some Smithsonian shyt to it .....just for the small spotlight it put on the South which ultimately for better or for worse led to today...... with the South running shyt on hip hop for the past decade plus

To me, Scarface hands down is the Godfather of gangsta rap because of his vivid story telling and emotion that he puts in his bars. In fact, You can easily see his influence in Nas and Big's story telling. Before Scarface, there were no rappers showing this level of vulnerability and raw emotion In Their story telling. His stories were unpredictable too. He didn't always win. He didn't always come out on top. It was the realist shyt. When I first heard mr. Scarface is back, I was like damn.

The very first time I heard mind playing tricks on me played, I was really feeling the Isaac Hayes sample and just before the beat kicked in, I thought to myself, if they drop the right beat in, this shyt will be classic. Then the beat dropped and I was like :blessed: Lol. This was befor I heard a single rhyme.
